If you could describe the “mission statement” of Jesus, what would it be? Did he come to save sinners? Yes. Did he come to bring the Kingdom of God? Yes. But what about this: “I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled!” (Luke 12:49). That was one of Jesus’ mission statements as well.
